Lahore Sialkot Motorway: A Much Needed Infrastructure

National Highway Authority (NHA) opened Lahore Sialkot Motorway (M11) on March 18, 2020.

It starts from the Sambrial district of Sialkot and ends up touching the Lahore Ring Road at Mehmood Booti.

Sialkot motorway has a total of 91 KM stretch, which you can cover in about 50 minutes with an average speed.

LSM will be beneficial for travelers as it cuts down the travel time by one hour.

You will also save on fuel by Rs 500 to 1,000, depending on the vehicle.

M11 will also benefit the Sialkot International Airport. As people who mostly travel through Lahore will now have easy access to the Sialkot airport.

That will give a boost to the economy as Sialkot is an export hub.

Lahore Sialkot Motorway will also be helpful in emergency medical conditions. Because it will be much faster to transport patients from the Sialkot region to Lahore.

In nutshell, it’s a much-needed infrastructure for the people of Sialkot. Do enjoy traveling on it if you get a chance. It passes through the agricultural belt and has many scenic views.
